You can write and you need to know where and how to start, how to structure your book, when to write, and if your writing is heading in the right direction.
You realise that the best support you can have is from someone who has been there, will help you with the right type of guidance when you need it, keep you focussed, and who understands every part of the process.
Your book will promote your business, give you additional credibility, tell your story, and you know it’s time to write it NOW.
You’re looking for a book coach who has extensive writing experience, having both written and coached many books to completion. You’re looking for a coach who is passionate about his work, committed to his authors, reliable, empathetic, motivating, supportive, and very knowledgeable. That’s me.
Option A
Mentoring/coaching you from start to finish
I mentor and coach you (by phone or Skype, or face-to-face in Brisbane) through the whole process of writing your non-fiction book. I help to keep you motivated and writing.
I’m there at the beginning to help you structure your book, to keep an eye on marketability, to offer ideas and creative approaches to getting your book written and published. I help you through the tough times, keep your creativity flowing, set you short and long term goals, and keep you motivated and inspired. I’ve been there many times as an author. I know what it’s like.
I also know how it feels to hold the first copy of your finished book and to get positive feedback from readers.
Are you ready to begin?
Mentoring begins with a 3 hour one-to-one workshop with me. (In two sessions if by phone; in one session if meeting in Brisbane). This is followed by a 90 min one-to-one workshop one week later. This equips you with the structure and outline of your book plus a writing schedule and outline of other goals. We then progress to weekly phone coaching sessions. You email me an update before each phone call. Phone sessions are 45 minutes each. I phone you on your landline at the appointed time.

Fee
Total fee $1,830 (Australian)
So for this you will receive weekly mentoring from me for 12 weeks. 12 weeks is a good target for producing a finished manuscript ready for editing. I will then help you choose an editor to tidy your writing, a book cover and page designer, printer and so on.
If you prefer, we can set a 22 week target, booking your 10 phone sessions every two weeks following the initial workshops.

Option B
Helping you structure your book before you begin
You’re an expert in your field. You have the knowledge and the wisdom. You have a message to get across. You have much to teach and you can see many different ways to approach your subject but, which is best?
I help you to stand back and look at your subject through your readers’ eyes. I help you to structure your book to suit their needs. And I help you to structure your book in a way that makes it highly marketable – so it sells.
When a potential reader picks up your book and flicks through it (or checks out sample pages on your website), it is the structure that can make or break your sale. During those few seconds, your reader needs to see how easy your book is to use and how it can help her. She will look up a couple of references in your index, check out your contents page, and scan bullet lists, breakout boxes and page layout. What will she decide?
The more complex your subject, the more attention you need to place on getting the structure right. I help you achieve this.
